Ayatollah Ka’bi:
Rasa – The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said, “Social, political and government atheism lead to the domination of the oppressors, corrupters, the domination of the oppressors, the crimes of the colonizers and the destruction of humanity.”
Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi

RNA – In a meeting with a group of professors and cultural activists in Tunisia, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, referred to the Holy Quran and said, “Recognition of God is one of the highest forms of recognition. The society which is far from God is a society which has drowned in darkness and ruin and is bound to collapse.”

The senior Iranian cleric added, “The society which forsakes God and is materialistic has nothing except eating, drinking, leisure and violates the rights of others and doesn’t benefit from a true human life.”

He said that atheism and disbelief have both individual and social dimensions, and stated, “Social, political and government atheism leads to the domination of the oppressors, corrupters, the domination of the oppressors, the crimes of the colonisers and the destruction of humanity. In the atheist governments, human life is transformed into two sections – the oppressors, mercenaries and rich people on one hand and the oppressed and poor on the other hand.”

Ayatollah Ka’bi described the prophets as the most peace-loving people of the world and said, “The reform of society was carried out by the prophets, the imams and by the religious scholars who walk along the path of the Imams.”

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom stated that the prophethood,
messengership, and imamate as three parts of the lifestyle of the divine prophets, and continued, “The messengers through the means of prophecy inform humans of divine news and through their mission, they taught a pure lifestyle which is how to live in security, stability and without conflict.”

He said, “Imamate is another aspect of the life of the prophets. Society needs an imam, which means ‘leader.’ Imamate must continue the divine mission and the role of an imam in the absence of the twelfth imam [Muhammad al-Mahdi] doesn’t end.”

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Ka’bi stated, “The United States and the Zionist regime are continuing the plunder and colonization of various countries in the world and the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeyni declared the US as the ‘Great Satan’ and the Zionist regime as a ‘cancerous tumour.’”

He added, that recognizing true Muhammadan Islam, publishing it and promoting the love of the Ahlul-Bayt in the world, avoiding sedition, sectarianism, ethnocentrism, prejudice and acting to eradicate poverty, ignorance and corruption and participation in the achievement of true freedom and recognizing the enemies, focusing on the original enemies and fighting those are the issues which the Islamic world must give attention to.

The member of the Assembly of Expert said that American Islam is one of the most dangerous and worst forms of Islam and added, “The US and the Zionist regime are the cause of all the problems and are the foremost enemies of the Islamic world.”

Ayatollah Ka’biemphasized that the Takfiri phenomenon seeks to distance the world from the Ahlul-Bayt, while the Islam of the Ahlul-Bayt is the defender and protector of the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad.

He called Daesh as the “agents of the US, the Zionist regime and the Wahhabis” and noted, “Wahhabism is an ideological base for Daesh and has deviated from the path of genuine Islam. If we want to be safe from the evil of terrorism, we must dry the ideological roots out and inject love, friendship, brotherhood, peace and nonviolent lives into this ideology in their place.”

Ayatollah Ka’bi stated, “The people of Tunisia must be the flagship of the fight against terrorism, attracting people’s hearts, tolerating the sensitivities, trusting in God and increasing their relationship with the Imam of the Time.”
