RNA – In a message issued on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan, Mohammad Yaghi, the director of responsible Hezbollah’s office in Lebanon’s Beqaa region, offered his congratulations on the anniversary of the expulsion of Zionist occupiers from Lebanon in the year 2000 and added, “This victory was achieved due to the efforts of the warriors, their pure blood and the firm resistance of this nation alongside the devoted champions of the Islamic Resistance forces.”
The senior Hezbollah official added that in the 2000, for the first time since 1948 and the occupation of Palestine, the Islamic Resistance imposed a decisive defeat on the Zionist enemies.
“This regime consistently engaged in acts of aggression and began infamous for its acts of oppression, crimes, murder and tyranny against the peoples of Lebanon and Palestine,” he said.
Yaghi said that the recent positions taken by the United States in regard to the Islamic Resistance are by no means new and since the Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon in 1982 and the Israel-Lebanon War, “we have witnessed such hostilities.”
He added that we’re accused of being terrorists by the enemies because we stand against the Zionists and fight against this terrorist regime which usurped our land and has committed crimes against our nation.
Yaghi said that these accusations cannot change the facts and noted that the US government created these Takfiri terrorist groups and the admission of this fact by former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is emphasis on this fact.
