RNA – Speaking in his class on the interpretation of the Quran in Qom’s Amir al-Momenin Mosque, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Mazaheri said, “The Islamic Republic will stand with all its might against the sabotage by the Zionist Jews.”
The revered Shi’ah cleric referred to verse 114 of Surah al-Baqarah, and said, “In my last lecture, I said that after the death of Moses, the Jews acknowledged a lot of prophets but because of their love of the position and the world, they opposed other religions and they sabotaged the affairs of the prophets, including Prophet Solomon, Shu’ayb and David and in the addition to this sabotage, they killed religious people and destroyed their places of worship.”
Ayatollah Mazaheri added that the sabotage of the Jews continued until the Christians came to power and inflicted great damage on them and also they transformed the current location of Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque into a deserted place.
“With the advent of the Prophet Muhammad, the al-Aqsa Mosque left its state as a deserted place and the Jews were given a new life but instead of thanking Muslims, they engaged in sabotage against Islam,” he said.
Referring to the first verse of Surah al-Isra, the head of the Islamic Seminary of Esfahan said, “The excellent climate in Palestine can have a strong effect on the Palestinian economy.”
The teacher of ethics in the Islamic Seminary said, “Because of the excellent condition of Palestinian land, the Jews gave money and bought huge parts of the land of Palestine from the inept Muslims and after seizing power with the support of the arrogant powers of the world, they invaded other areas of Palestine and made Palestinian Muslims helpless.”
Ayatollah Mazaheri said that Israel sought to fully capture Palestine and added, “From an economic and social perspective, the situation of the Palestinians is very bad but with Iran’s support for Palestine, this country is still standing.”
He added that one person whose work was very effective in regard to protecting the land of Palestine was the late Imam Khomeini who named one of the days of the year as the International Day of al-Quds in order to support the people of Palestine.
“al-Quds Day is one of the days which really hurts the enemies,” he stressed.
The renowned cleric noted that Imam Khomeini said that if Muslims unite and every one of them dumps a bucket of water on Israel, Israel will be washed away. “But unfortunately, Muslims didn’t hear the advice of the Imam and rather than unite with each other, they have united with the enemies.”
Ayatollah Mazaheri said that US President Donald Trump has travelled to Saudi Arabia in order to continue the Saudi plots to create division among Muslims and his next meeting with the leaders of the Zionist Entity is part of a plan to continue to evict the Palestinian people from their land and capture the whole country.
He pointed out that the Islamic Republic, with all of its might, stands against the sabotage of the Zionists and noted that Iran won’t allow the Zionists to achieve their demands and added, “The Quran has promised that this party of Jews will be destroyed and the day will come when the Jews will see their humiliation and we hope that we will be of those who will see these days.”
