Rasa – The founder of Tehran’s Imam al-Mahdi Seminary explained that Principalist presidential candidate, Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi is a man of work and practice and will dedicate himself to changing situation of society for the benefit of the people.

RNA – Speaking at a meeting of supporters of Principalist presidential candidate Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi at Shahr-e Rey’s Ershad Mosque, Ayatollah Ruhollah Gharahi, the founder of Tehran’s Imam al-Mahdi Seminary, referring to the current administration of President Hasan Rouhani saying, “If the people are witnessing the lies of the president today, it’s because he doesn’t consider himself as one of people and considers the office of the president as a separate organ.”


Iran will hold presidential and city and village council elections on May 19th. 


The Iranian cleric said that from the early days of the Islamic Revolution, and while only in his 20s, Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi served the nation as a prosecutor and added, “While serving the nation, he was in a position which he could have ultimately abused his post but he never erred and consistently followed the orders of the late Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei.” 


Ayatollah Gharahi said that Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi is a “God-fearing man” and added that he never lies and during the debates, he was able to clarify the records of the other candidates for all but due to his modesty and good morals, he refused. 


“For example, Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi has information on the corruption of Eshaq Jahangiri which could disgrace him but he has acted with dignity and goodwill in his opposition to him,” he added.

 
His Eminence said that Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi is a person of work and action and added that the current administration doesn’t have the mood to work and serve the people and the person who wears the clerical clothes in every program is not a person of work and action.


Ayatollah Gharahi said, “Misrepresentation of the sacred clerical clothes has turned the people away from religion and the lies of the government have had a very bad effect on the people.”


The founder of Tehran’s Imam al-Mahdi Seminary said that Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi aims at serving the people in arena of the elections and noted, “He considers himself the servant of the people and is dedicated to trying to change the situation of society for the benefit of the people.”
