He added, “The terrorists arrested and tortured me and assumed that I was dead but after ten days, I came out of a coma and told ‘perhaps you tore up my body but you cannot change my will.’”

Mawlawi Rahmah warned of the realization of the Zionists’ slogan “from the Nile to the Euphrates” and said, “The enemies are planning crises in Syria crises against Iran and we must be very careful of their plots.”

The Friday prayer leader of Damascus’ Umayyad Mosque said the unity between Shi’ahs and Sunnis in Iran is a source of encouragement for the Syrian people and added, “They can’t separate Sunnis and Shi’ahs anywhere in the world because Shi’ahs and Sunnis are like the two wings of Islam.”

He referred to the crimes of the Takfiri terrorists in Syria and said, “The al-Nusrah Front is made up of foreigners who have flooded into Syria and they are a violent group and while they shout slogans of democracy, freedom and progress but in reality, they have taken all of these from us.”

Mawlawi Rahmah explained that there are no differences between Daesh and the al-Nusrah Front and added, “Today, the duty of the scholars is to speak the truth of this issue because our silence leads to the further spread of Daesh.”
