RNA – Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, a member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, has written a letter to Hujjat al-Islam Abdullah al-Daqqaq, the representative of the leader of Bahraini Shi’ahs in Iran, Ayatollah Isa Qasim, in which he condemned the Al Khalifah monarchy for stripping him of his Bahraini citizenship.
In his message, the Iranian cleric said, “I have become aware of the illegal and illegitimate and unjust decision of this regime in regard to the [Al Khalifah’s] stripping you and a number of other believers of your Bahraini citizenship.”
He continued, saying, “There’s no doubt that the Al Khalifah has lost its legitimacy and the foundations of the criminal regime have been shaken by the constant presence of the patient people of Bahrain who have defended Islam, truth, justice, freedom, dignity and the defense and dignity of Ayatollah Isa Qasim to the death.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi added that the faithful, patient and resistant Bahraini people have created conditions which have weakened the Al Khalifah regime’s control by continuing to dedicate themselves to the martyrs with honour and dignity, fighting against the oppressors and their masters, trusting in God and being inspired by the school of Ashura.
His Eminence said Al Khalifah regime doesn’t know how to deal with a free and heroic people and accordingly, it has engaged in acts of aggression against the rights and dignity of the people, engaged in the murder, torture and detention of revolutionary personalities, unfair trials and denial of citizenship of the Bahraini people.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom explained that the Al Khalifah regime cannot be saved from this whirlpool and as long as their crimes continue to the same extent, they are bringing themselves closer to the overthrow of their regime.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said that the resistant and self-sacrificing youth won’t allow the criminals to go unpunished and they will take revenge for the martyrs.
At the end of the message, he stated, “The victory of the people of Bahrain is near because these faithful and resistant people have chosen life and oppression must be destroyed and the chains must be disjointed.”
The Al Khalifah regime has revoked the citizenship of Hujjat al-Islam Abdullah al-Daqqaq and sentenced him to 10 years in prison.
He is representative of Ayatollah Qasim and the director of the Bahraini students’ seminary in Qom.
