Rasa – The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq stressed that political differences among officials must not affect the lives of the people and impair the country’s security apparatuses.

RNA – During a meeting with a group of tribal leaders and political officials in Iraq’s southern al-Qadisiyah Governorate, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim said, “The tribes of al-Qadisiyah Governorate have been effective in supporting Iraq during various times, especially during the dictatorial regime of Saddam Husayn, and also during the fight against the Daesh terrorist phenomenon of the past few years.”


The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq added that the victories of the warriors in the fight against Daesh belong to all nations because Daesh is a threat to all humanity.


Hujjat al-Islam al-Hakim described the post-Daesh era as a sensitive era and said the Iraqi National Coalition has suggested a plan for this critical and dangerous period entitled the “National Reconciliation Plan.”


He stressed upon the necessity of setting aside differences and providing better services to the people and added, “Security agencies and officials in the country’s governorates shouldn’t be influenced by political pressures.”


The Iraqi cleric added that political differences among officials must not affect the lives of the people and impair the country’s security apparatuses.


The chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq also congratulated the officials on the arrival of spring by planting several saplings and flowers. 

In this regard, His Eminence told reporters that this year, spring will be associated with the victories of the warriors in Nineveh Governorate and in the city of Mosul, where the Iraqi army and allied fighters of the Popular Mobilization Forces currently engaged in joint operations to expel Takfiri Daesh militants out of their last urban stronghold in the country.


Hujjat al-Islam al-Hakim stressed that the culture of tree planting must become prevalent in society and by planting a tree in their home gardens or in the hometowns, each Iraqi citizen can demonstrate the beauty of their country.
