The representative of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts added that it’s important to note that the indicators and statistics don’t match reality and in the short-, and even medium-, terms, and these indicators and statistics haven’t had a significant impact on the livelihoods of the people and for this reason, the people have demanded reforms in regard to the economical and living conditions.”

Ayatollah Ka’bi said that people have complained about to the unemployment, severe recession, inflation and the closure of many economic entities and companies and added, “The situation has not improved the living conditions of the people and the various groups in society have complained of the current economic situation in the country.”

The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom explained that from this perspective, the Rouhani administration is not a responsible government and even the administration’s political supporters have expressed their complaints and protested against the administration’s weak economic performance.

“Every just expert knows that the administration hasn’t been able to act on its economic promises,” he stressed.

In conclusion, Ayatollah Ka’bi emphasized on the need to take action to solve the problems of the people and society and said, “The living situation of the people won’t improve through speeches and the presentation of reports and statistics.”

President Rouhani’s first term in office will come to an end in a few months and many individuals have commented on his economic policies.
