RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Iraqi holy city of Karbala’s Holy Shrine of Imam al-Husayn, Hujjat al-Islam Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbala’i appealed to the citizens of various governorates in Iraq to contribute to help those civilians displaced in the war against the Daesh Takfiri terrorists and to alleviate their suffering.

The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani in Karbala stressed that the provision of water and aid to the heroic fighters is a good thing but they also must contribute to providing much needed assistance to those who are internally displaced.

He added that we must understand our brothers and sisters in accordance with the requirements of citizenship and stressed, “Helping them is one of the best acts of worship and contributes to the achievement of divine rewards.”

Hujjat al-Islam al-Karbala’i hailed the victories achieved by the heroes of the armed forces in the operation to liberate the northern city of Mosul.
