RNA – A group of Bahraini Shi’ah scholars have issued a statement urging the people to take to the streets in defense of Ayatollah Isa Qasim from March 9th to 14th.
The full text of the statement is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
“Say, ‘I give you just a single advice: that you rise up for God’s sake, in pairs or singly, and then reflect: there is no madness in your companion; he is just a warner to you before [the befalling of] a severe punishment.’” [The Holy Quran 34:46]
God has urged the people to rise up in His name. This verse is the key to the victory that He has taught to the prophets and the messengers.
In fact, one can not purge lands and peoples without rising up and achieving martyrdom.
Those who seek the justice, dignity and munificence of their religion and homeland, those who belong to our beloved nation, today is your day. This is your only great opportunity to fulfill your dreams and desires. Therefore, rise up for the love of God, for the mercy of God will be granted to you.
We invite believers in God’s will to make history from March 9th to 14th, which are the days when Ayatollah Isa Qasim, the symbol of our religious and national identity, will be put on trial. Chant the words of God and cry “we will not return to our homes” and “defense until death” so that another day is marked in history as a day of defense – the defense of our religion, nation, dignity and munificence. And the day when we oppose oppression, tyranny and the usurpers.
“Whoever migrates in the way of God will find many havens and plenitude in the earth. And whoever leaves his home migrating toward God and His Apostle, and is then overtaken by death, his reward shall certainly fall on God, and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.” [The Holy Quran 4:100]
