RNA – In a meeting with a group of clerics in the police force, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani said Muslims shouldn’t be carelessness or silent in regard to the movements of the enemies in the region and stressed the need to prepare to fight against the enemies.
The revered source of emulation added that we shouldn’t forget what is occurring in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain and Yemen.
He said that in order for the Islamic Revolution to triumph and continue, it’s necessary for the people to sacrifice their blood and to struggle and stressed, “If the people didn’t sacrifice their blood and didn’t struggle for the Islamic Revolution, it wouldn’t be clear if this revolution would have been victorious. If the revolutions in the region want to be victorious, it’s necessary for them to give their blood and struggle. Without their blood, a revolutionary won’t occur.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that alongside propagating the religion, the most important mission of the prophets was struggling against tyrants and oppressors. “The prophets were sent to the people with the weapons of jihad and for religious propagation,” he noted.
His Eminence expressed that throughout Iranian history, the people rose up many times, which can be witnessed in regard to the Tobacco Protest of 1880 and in the Constitutional Revolution between 1905 and 1911, which occurred with a lot of dedication.
“The monarchy wasn’t able to dislodge the Iranian nation despite their oppression against them,” he said.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani added that Imam Khomeini repeatedly said that we mustn’t allow the Islamic Revolution to fall into the hands of unbelievers. “We must put the commands of the late Imam on our agenda,” he stressed.
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said that Imam Khomeini was one of the most valuable warriors who was able to export his revolution to the world and defeat the two superpowers of the East and West and also caused the awakening of the oppressed against the oppressors
He said that knowledge and jihad are the main causes of pride for Islam and said, “Islam needs scholars and warriors and scholars and warriors play a fundamental role in Islam and in a time when the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel and the imperialist powers are fighting against Islam, we cannot only be busy reading and studying.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that the Iranian people sacrificed their blood in their uprisings against the Pahlavi regime which led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution and they were inspired by the movement of Karbala and rose up in the name of truth against falsehood so there is nothing except jihad.
