RNA – Speaking at a ceremony celebrating the Islamic Awakening at the Holy Shine of Imam al-Ridha in Mashhad, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hashim al-Haydari, one of the commanders of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, said, “War is very difficult and you, the people of Iran, must be thankful to God that you live in security and that you have no problems throughout the country because you don’t suffer from Daesh and the United States.”
He added, “You Iranians have become accustomed to security but you must realize that Daesh is no joke and Daesh cannot be resolved through diplomacy, democracy or dialogue. Thus, if they enter Iran, it is very dangerous.”
Hujjat al-Islam Haydari said that Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Bahrain, Lebanon and Syria are at war with Daesh from a political and military perspective. “You must realize that if Daesh reaches Mashhad, your security would be in danger,” he noted.
The Iraqi cleric noted that the former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, admitted that Daesh is an security project created by the British, American, Israeli and Saudi governments to continue the fight against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Islamic sanctities and to create divisions among Muslims.
His Eminence said that Iraq is one of the battlefields of Daesh that began three years ago when the Takfiri terrorist group attacked and captured Mosul.
Hujjat al-Islam Haydari said the goal of Daesh’s recent attack on Samarra was to attack the al-Askari Shrine and exhume the graves of Imams Ali al-Hadi and Hasan al-Askari. “Major General Qasem Soleymani, the commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC, along with the Popular Mobilization Forces, Qods Forces and Iraq youth, prevented Daesh from reaching Samarra, although many were martyred in this way,” he said.
The senior member of the Popular Mobilization Forces said when Daesh attacked Syria five years ago, they reached Damascus and got close to the Holy Shrine of Lady Zaynab and when they realized that the Resistance Front composed of Pakistanis, Afghans, Iranians, Lebanese and Iraqis under the leadership of Major General Soleymani, they ended their attacks on the shrine.
He added that five years ago only one person in the whole said that we won’t allow Syria to be overthrown and this person was none other than Ayatollah Khamenei.
His Eminence added that the power of the Syrian and Yemeni people also stems from the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iran’s role in the region, as well as the role of Ayatollah Khamenei's Leadership, saved Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Hujjat al-Islam Haydari noted that the Syria issue is not only a sacred issue but also a political and military issue and added, “If, God forbid, Syria was to fall, Iraq and Iran would be next and the Iran-Iraq War would be repeated, although, even more difficult.”
He said that by carrying out suicide attacks, Daesh has committed many crimes and fighting against them is a repetition of the work of the martyrs of Karbala and protects the entire region.
