RNA – Speaking at a memorial ceremony for the three Bahraini revolutionaries recently executed by the Al Khalifah regime, Hujjat al-Islam Husayn al-Dayhi, the Deputy Secretary-General of Bahrain’s al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, and said, “With exemplary zeal, the noble and loyal people of Bahrain have come forth and condemned this heinous crime to demonstrate that they are stronger than those who retreat from the scene with the language of blood, murder and repression.”
Sami Mushayma’, Abbas Jamil Tahir al-Sami’ and Ali Abdul-Shahid al-Sinkays were executed on January 15th over allegations of killing a member of Emirati forces who had been assisting Manama in its suppression of Bahraini protesters in the northern village of al-Dayh back in March 2014.
The Bahraini cleric said that the execution of these three youths represents the security and judicial corruption in the tiny Persian Gulf monarchy and added, “This act demonstrates the innocence of these youths but the security apparatus of the Al Khalifah regime, which doesn’t have the ability to provide security for the citizens of Bahrain, resorted to such actions to justify their torture and execution due their failures.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Dayhi said that the Al Khalifah’s security apparatus is extremely weak and is based on personal interests and sectarian cleansing and added that the regime seeks to cover up their weaknesses through the execution of these three innocent youths while the people haven’t committed any action against the state and its foreign allies and are only demanding their rights but their crime is considered their adherence to the religion of the Ahlul-Bayt.
He stressed that the execution of innocent civilians is a barbaric crime and added that these executions indicate the righteousness of this national movement for the establishment of a just judicial system.
“Otherwise,” he stated, “Why are there more than 4,000 people are imprisoned and are being tortured? Also, more than 150 people have been martyred including many children, by the security forces and their foreign mercenaries.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Dayhi said that the nine-year prison sentence of Shaykh Ali Salman, the Secretary-General of al-Wefaq, is one of the signs of injustice in the judiciary of Bahrain and stressed up the necessity of forming an international committee to investigate the crimes committed against the people of Bahrain.
“We ask the international community to carry out their responsibilities in response to the crimes committed against the people of Bahrain by the Al Khalifah regime and they must realize that silence in the face of oppression against the people of Bahrain is shameful,” he said.
