RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sadiq al-Nablusi, a professor of political science at the University of Beirut, referred to the recent defeats and failures of Takfiri groups in the Middle East, especially in Iraq and Syria, and said, “The inhabitants of these areas are determined to combat the Western separatist projects and the region has witnessed the fruitful efforts of the Islamic Resistance.”
The prominent Lebanese scholar said that the division of the Middle East on the basis of ethnic and religious divisions is a serious threat which is in line which the goals of the colonialists and imperialist.
He added that the Resistance Axis, especially in the last five years, has fought hard to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies but today, the balance of power has changed, especially after the liberation of the Syrian city of Aleppo, and the attempts to end the current situation has become more serious.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Nablusi said that the changing views of the situation in Syria by various countries of world are a result of the diligence of the efforts of the Resistance Axis in the war against the Takfiri terrorists.
He pointed out that the West realized that terrorism not only threatens their interests in the Middle East but also the borders of Europe and North America and added, “For this reason, today we are witnessing greater efforts to engage in international agreements. The formation of coalitions that we have witnessed in recent months are the result of the flares of state-sponsored terrorism.”
He added that until recently, some Western countries had considered the war in Syria as a war over political and economic interests but now they consider the war as a serious threat to themselves.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Nablusi noted that the Resistance Axis faces serious weaknesses in the media and added that we are seeing an unequal war from the media. Some leading media outlets which have projected this war as an ethnic and sectarian war are making coarse and petty accusations against the Islamic Resistance.
“However, their accusations are not being responded to effectively by the Resistance Axis. This issue is also evident from an international and regional perspective,” he warned.
His Eminence stressed that it is essential that the whole world learns the truth about the activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq and other resistance movements in the region.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Nablusi added, “The Muslim world should know that the movement of pure Islam is defending the Muslim community, including all its tribes and sects, and even defends Christians and the followers of other religions. The accusations that Iran, Hezbollah and the Popular Mobilization Forces are engaged in the killing of Sunnis based on their religious identity or tribal origin are absurd claim which must be exposed.”
