RNA – Speaking at a ceremony at Beirut’s Imam Ali Husayniyah, Hujjat al-Islam Nabil Qawouq, the vice-president of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, referred to the January 8th heroic operation which was carried out by the Palestinian warrior Fadi al-Qanbar in the occupied city of Jerusalem al-Quds, which led to the deaths of four IDF soldiers and wounded 15 others.
The Lebanese cleric said this operation showed the greatness of the Palestinian people and their ability to create a miracle and proved the defeat of the Zionist regime’s attempts to suppress the Intifada and exterminate the Palestinian people.
Hujjat al-Islam Qawouq also noted the the latest developments in Syria, saying that the villages of al-Fu’ah and Kefraya were under siege and bombed for more than two years by terrorist forces and due to the fact that water resources were deliberated targeted, the inhabitants are currently grappling with thirst.
“Of course, it is not unusual for terrorists and their supporters, namely Saudi Arabia, because Saudi warplanes have been engaged in bombarding Sana’a’s water resources for more than a year,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Qawouq noted that terrorism was an a “absolute evil” and said Saudi policy is based on the export of the Wahhabi thought around the world and added that this regime has persisted on the use of Takfiri terrorists as weapons in Lebanon and Iraq and all countries in the region.
“Certainly there will be nothing but defeat and despair for the Al Saud in Iraq and we see that that the Iraqi army and Popular Mobilization Forces are currently making historic gains in the region,” he cleric added.
He said no one in the world, except Israel and Saudi Arabia, will be upset at Iraq’s victory and the targeting of the Popular Mobilization Forces is also achieved through their support of Daesh and said, “It is upon this basis that Saudi Arabia and the Zionists have been frustrated over the defeat of the Takfiris in Aleppo.”
Hujjat al-Islam Qawouq referred to the defeat of the Saudi project in Syria and Iraq and said, “The achievements made in Aleppo are due to a change in the regional equation and the heavy defeat of the of the Takfiris, the project to divide Aleppo and to distance Syria from the Resistance Axis have been defeated through the liberation of Aleppo.”
“They wanted to destroy Hezbollah last year but at the end of 2016, Hezbollah was able to achieve political, military and national power in Lebanon and the region,” he added.
