Ayatollah al-Hakim:
Rasa – Ayatollah al-Hakim described the view of the world’s population toward Islam as ‘respectful’, ‘despite the growing terrorism in the name of Islam all around the world.’
RNA – Speaking to a group of university students from the Iraqi province of Basrah and the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Grand Ayatollah al-Hakim said: “despite the growing terrorism in the name of Islam all around the world, the eyes of the world see the true Islam with respect and honor.”
On the other part of his speech, Ayatollah al-Hakim noted the importance of seeking knowledge saying: university students are the people who will develop the future of Iraq so seeking knowledge should be their main goal of studying.”
“Students must get armed with the weapon of religion, ideology and knowledge and get prepared in order to be able to counter anti-Islam propaganda,” he added.
