RNA - The leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Sheikh Muqtada al-Sadr visited the al-Naja Church in Iraq to offer his greetings for the arrival of Christmas celebrations.

 

“Peace and kindness are the main cause of our nation’s unity and resistance against terrorism,” al-Sadr said during his meeting with archbishop Mar Afram Youssof Ata.

 

“Terrorism can never be a part of religion and whatever they do should never be considered as teachings of Isalm,” the Iraqi cleric added.

 

Archbishop Ata later appreciated “the role of Iraq’s Sadrist movement in supporting and recognizing different communities specially Christians of Iraq.”
