RNA – In a meeting with seminarians and students from Iranian southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani, a senior Shi’ah cleric in Qom, stated, “The dignity of Muslims is one of the major issues highlighted in the Holy Quran. It repeatedly encourages people to preserve their glory and dignity in the face of imperialist powers.”
The Shi’ah source of emulation further asserted that there are some necessary principles to be considered in order to maintain one’s dignity, “The first principle is to have faith, it gives mankind strength and confidence. Faith is what strengthens people’s spirit in the face of arrogant powers and oppressive rulers.”
“The second one is knowledge. knowledge which is accompanied by faith and self-purification is multiplied in value,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani added.
The senior cleric went on, “The third necessary principle to boost one’s dignity is wisdom. wisdom is different than knowledge in that the former makes people recognize right from wrong.”
“In order to boost the main dignity and honour, one needs an Islamic System under the supervision of a Jurist. the Islamic community must do their very best to strengthen their government and revolution.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani added, “The other principle is to develop the spirit of jihad and martyrdom among people. this is what saves the Islamic Revolution against the enemies’ plots.”
“Preserving unity against the enemies is one of the most important principles in maintain dignity. strengthening unity among one nation could help overcome enemies’ conspiracies,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said.
His Eminence said, “Propagating Shi’ahphobia, Iranophobia and creating takfiri groups such as Daesh are among enemies’ plots to fight Muslims and the Islamic community. Unity makes the enemies do not reach their goals.”
The Shi’ah cleric concluded, “British Shi’ism was founded by the United Kingdom and we do not approve of them. we must fight such groups until their completely eradicated.”
