RNA – Speaking on Wednesday morning at the weekly meeting of he Guardian Council, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati expressed regret at the support of some governments for the Takfiri phenomenon in the region and said, “Unfortunately, Turkey is the gateway for the terrorists in the Middle East – Takfiri elements enter Syria and Iraq from European countries and through Turkey. Now, with the return of these Takfiri terrorists to Europe, these same countries are under threat and they are tasting the violence of these groups themselves.”
The chairman of the Assembly of Experts expressed hope that these sovereign states ponder on how to eradicate the Takfiri phenomenon permanently.
Referring to the victories of the Islamic Resistance in the region, Ayatollah Jannati said that the unexpected liberation of the Syrian city of Aleppo was pleasing news which was achieved by Muslim forces from various countries.
“We are hopeful that soon, [the Iraqi city of] Mosul will also be liberated and the evil of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists will be removed from the region,” he said.
Ayatollah Jannati described the effects of the liberation of Aleppo and said we must really celebrate the liberation of Aleppo because now, the arrow of the liberation of Aleppo has struck the hearts of the United States and Israel and has defeated the mercenaries of the Great Satan in Syria’s second-largest city.
“This means that Israel and Saudi Arabia has been defeated,” he said.
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran expressed regret over Saudi Arabia’s support for Takfiri groups said, “Unfortunately, through the oil which belongs to the oppressed people of Saudi Arabia, the Al Saud has dispatched fanatic groups to Syria and Iraq who have no mercy.”
