RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Jalal Rezavi-Mehr, the vice-president of the Association of Representatives of Seminary Students, referred to the renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) and said that these sanctions represent “oppression by the ruling elite of the United States against the oppressed system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The member of executive committee of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added that the renewal of the ISA by the US Senate is against the JCPOA and the promises made by the US in the JCPOA and stressed that Iran will not remain quiet and that these actions by the US will not remain unanswered.
He said that the US has shown its untruthful and arrogant nature and those who have trumpeted that the JCPOA is a win-win situation should know that there is no hope in the US.
“Today, the Islamic Republic is fully capable and has underground complexes loaded with missiles which, along with its might, protect the dignity of its Islamic system,” he stated.
His Eminence said that Iran won’t be defeated by the Americans and added, “Anyone who is attached to the Americans has demonstrated their own irrationality in the political arena more than anything else.”
The Iranian cleric added that other parties shouldn’t remain silent in regard to the JCPOA and added, “The Zionist lobby in the Senate was able to fulfill their objectives with 99% vote in favour of the sanctions,” he noted.
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom stressed that the nature of Iran’s system is the path of jihad, resistance and martyrdom and Iran has always familiar with the Americans tricks over the past seventy years and this disloyalty is not recent.
Hujjat al-Islam Rezavi-Mehr emphasized that “thanks to the grace of God,” Iran didn’t allow its missile complexes to fall under the domination of the US.
