RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon in Kermanshah, Ayatollah Mostafa Olama stated that the United States seeks the destruction and weakening of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and said, “The appeasement of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the case of the nuclear talks with the P5+1 group of countries demonstrates well that the United States seeks dominance over Iran’s Islamic system of government and the Islamic Revolution.”
The Supreme Leader’s representative in Kermanshah province said that Ayatollah Khamenei’s warnings about the disloyalty of the US indicates that the negotiations with the US, the “Great Satan,” were in vain and ineffective because the US has a long-standing enmity with the Islamic Revolution.
He cited the words of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, and said that the only way to stand against the US and its allies, is through the resistance of the Iranian nation because by relying on its strengths and resisting, Iran has been able to protect itself from the enemies’ attacks.
Ayatollah Olama pointed out that the extension of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) for ten years violates the JCPOA and proves the true face of the US to the world.
Protection of unity a duty
His Eminence pointed out that the protection of unity is one of the duties of the Islamic government and the Islamic world and added that the establishment of dissension and disunity among Muslims is the main goal of the imperialist powers and the enemies of Islam so that they can rule over Muslims.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in Kermanshah province said the alliance of Shi’ahs and Sunnis in Syria and Iraq will lead to the expulsion and defeat of Daesh and the Takfiri phenomenon and for this reason, strengthening unity among Muslims must be given its due consideration.
Ayatollah Olama said adherence to the Quran and progeny of the Prophet Muhammad can protect Muslim countries against the attacks by the enemies, thus, the efforts by Shi’ah and Sunni scholars should be based on extending Islamic unity over all Islamic countries.
Referring to the upcoming Islamic Unity Week, he said, “Today, Takfiris in Syria and Iraq are attempting to create division among Shi’ahs and Sunnis and unity among them would be a firm slap against Daesh and their leaders.”
Ayatollah Olama said that the enemies have identified strategic centres in Iran and are working to undermine and to spread the influence of Western thinking in these centres and for this reason, by infusing these centres with revolutionary thought, we can prevent the advancement of the enemies’ plots.
