RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi referring to the violations of JCPOA by the United States and said, “With the renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) it has become clear that the US will never change its evil goals and methods in relation to the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah added that the US’ broken promises over the JCPOA have become clear for the people of Iran and they have understood that the US should be seen as the Great Satan and the US now is the same US of old with the same characteristics and hostility.
“The American officials’ hearts are full of hatred against Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the analysis of those who were looking to beautify this Great Satan and those who have tried to reduce the US’ animosity toward Iran to the level of misunderstanding and today are incorrect.,” he said.
Ayatollah Sa’idi added that the Supreme Leader wasn’t optimistic over the negotiations with the P5+1 but wouldn’t interfere in the details of the negotiations but explained his frameworks and red lines to the country’s officials.
The renowned scholar noted that the enemies can’t state that Iran isn’t willing to negotiate or understand and said, “Now that Iran’s enemies have been disarmed, officials must stand against the excesses and disloyalty of the US.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi pointed to the upcoming Islamic Unity Week which marks the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad according to Sunni narrations which state that the Prophet was born on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal and Shi’ah narrations which state that he was born on the 17th of Rabi’ al-Awwal and said that every year a week on the occasion of Unity Week, Islamic scholars note the commonalities between sects based on the Holy Quran and the Prophet and call on followers toward solidarity with each other and realize that dissension among them only benefits the enemies.
Referring to the events in the region, he said that the significant victories of Syrian army in Aleppo is the most important event of the week because the retaking of Aleppo is the path to the final victory of the Syrian army against terrorists and their supporters.
“We always call on God to grant our brotherly and fellow Muslim nations of Syria and Iraq victory over the terrorists and to lessen the evil of the Saudis against the people of Yemen and Bahrain,” he supplicated.
