RNA – “We must know that Iraq, is a country of honour, dignity, nobility and martyrdom and it is something painful for us that the foreign terrorist group Daesh has taken control of parts of our country and have contaminated our land with their forces,” Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi said during a meeting with a group of Sunni clerics from the western Iraqi city of Fallujah.
Ayatollah al-Najafi added the most painful thing for him is to see one Iraqi turning against his follow Iraqi citizens and killing him and added, “This is the result of ideas imposed on the Iraqi people from the outside the country.”
His Eminence, “We all know that the Iraqi people are have a friendly and brotherly relationship and that Iraq and Islam are the focal point of the unity of the Iraqi people’s unity. Of course, these focal points are enough for our unity and God-willing, when the dark clouds are removed, there will be no reason for dissension and division.”
The source of emulation added that one drop of Iraqi Muslim blood is more valuable to him than the entire the solar system and our resolve against those who are killing the Iraqi people will stand and added, “On the other hand, we must all work together to create national unity because Iraq is a sacred country and worthy of respect and if the Iraqi people stand united in the face of conspiracies, God will help them.”
The renowned Shi’ah source of emulation based in Najaf called on the Sunni clerics to convey their greetings to all Iraqi people, especially the people of the western Iraq, and added, “Convey my greetings to my children and try to create a spirit of brotherhood among the people.”
At the end of the meeting, the Sunni clerics thanked Ayatollah al-Najafi for his fatherly guidance and his support.
