RNA – In a statement, Ayatollah Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] in Markazi province, referred to a suicide attack at Kabul’s Baqir al-Uloum Mosque on Monday, November 21, which led to the deaths of at least 27 Shi’ah worshippers and wounded 35 others and said, “Without doubt, this brutal act by the enemies of Islam, and in particular Shi’ism, was aimed at destroying the image of Islam in the world.”
The Friday Prayer leader of Arak explained that the Shi’ahs of Afghanistan have long been oppressed by the enemies of Islam but the false claimants of human rights have not made any effective efforts to ensure the security of this country and its people.
He added that this barbaric act which led to the martyrdom and injury of a large number of faithful and pious people in the Afghan capital, once again left the Islamic world in grief and stressed that the perpetrators must be identified and punished as soon as possible.
Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi said that today, the oppressive powers have united against the Muslim world and are applying any means possible to prevent the spread of Islamic thought and culture. “Thus, in such circumstances, Muslims must place unity and harmony at the forefront of their affairs and use all their abilities to spread the culture of pure Muhammadan Islam,” he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in Markazi province said that the holy religion of Shi’ism is a boundless ocean that the world has failed to understand and stressed that understanding the lifestyle of the Ahlul-Bayt, especially Imam Ali, can save the world from cruelty and malice.
In another part of his statement, Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi said that Shi’ah clerics and university teachers should explain the authenticity of the sacred school of Shi’ism and the pure religion of Islam to the people of the world by writing articles and engaging in scientific research.
His Eminence added that the believing and monotheistic people of Iran have always been supportive of the oppressed people of the world and also now, they have condemned this brutal crime in Kabul and support the Muslim people of Afghanistan, especially the Shi’ahs of this country.
