RNA – In an interview with Hawzah News, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad-Hasan Zamani, the Chairman of the World Conference against Extremism and Takfiri Movements, stressed the high stature of Imam Husayn’s pilgrimage, especially during Arba’in, adding, “By God’s grace, the Arba’in walk has become a truly magnificent ceremony in recent years in which the lovers of the Ahlul-Bayt from across the world make a journey to Karbala to mourn for the great tragedy of Ashura, by doing so they reaffirm their adherence to Imam Husayn’s cause.”
The Shi’ah cleric added, “Although the majority of Arba’in pilgrims are Shi’ah Muslims who come from different parts of the world, but a considerable number of our Sunni brothers, who have the love of Ahlul-Bayt in their hearts, also participate in this great gathering only to make the Arba’in walk a great opportunity to strengthen the unity among Muslims and their bond with Ahlul-Bayt.”
Stating that Arba’in walk serves as a plain symbol of fighting arrogance, seeking truth and justice, he went on, “Undoubtedly, the popularity of the Arba’in pilgrimage is its greatest feature which has captured the whole world’s attention. However, in recent years, the Western media have attempted to boycott this event, surely they will fail in their vicious plots.”
