RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi referred to the Quranic chapter “al-Mumtahinah” [“She That Is To Be Examined”] which is specifically about the method of relations with the non-believers and said, “In this chapter, God specifies the outlines of international relations for the believers so that we know how to communicate with non-Muslims because Islam is not a religion of seclusion or which supports the cutting of ties with other nations and regions of the world.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said that according to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Republic of Iran doesn’t have any judgement over the November 8th American election and said, “We have always witnessed evil by both of ruling parties in the United States and they’ve never been good to us.”
He referred to the recent consensus between Democratic and Republican senators to extend the Iran Sanctions Act for another ten years, saying that this is an example that proves the position of Ayatollah Khamenei and the Islamic ummah that the US’ long-standing animosity toward Iran is permanent.
“The Supreme Leader said ‘we are ready for any possible incident,’” he said.
Referring to recent tragic attack on a group of Shi’ah mourners in Nigeria, Ayatollah Sa’idi said, “Under the influence of Saudi Wahhabism, the Nigerian army martyred a number of mourners. These innocent people were ready to commemorate the martyrdom of the ‘Master of the Martyrs’ and the martyrs of Karbala but these mourners were killed in cold blood.
His Eminence added that the evil House of Saud, their Nigerian mercenary forces and Takfiri groups must know that the founders of this great oppression, the Umayyad Dynasty and other oppressors have attempted to extinguish the light of Imam Husayn but they couldn’t do so.
“Today, 25 million marching soldiers of the army of Imam al-Mahdi from around the world have gathered in our brotherly country of Iraq to commemorate the great ceremony of Arba’in,” the Iranian cleric said.
Ayatollah Sa’idi said that the light of Imam Husayn will never be extinguished by the blind-hearted enemies and explained that the Arba’in is the return of the Islamic ummah to the commands of the Prophet Muhammad, which are stated in the Quran’s “verse of muwaddah” which calls on the believers to have love of his holy family.
In conclusion, he said, “Arba’in proves the role of the Imams, links the people and wilayah (guardianship), washes away ignorance, builds culture, civilization and power for Shi’ahs and paves the way for the government of Imam al-Mahdi.”
