Ayatollah Ka’bi in a meeting with leader of Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahlul-Haqq:
Rasa – The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom called for support for the Islamic Resistance Front against the Zionist regime.

RNA – In a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Qays al-Khaz’ali, the secretary-general of Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahlul-Haqq, a part of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, stressed on the importance of unity among the Islamic Resistance Front in the fight against the enemies of Islam, added, “Today, the movements, organizations and parties standing up to the Zionist occupying regime must not be divided.”

 

He explained that Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani fatwa’s calling for collective jihad against the Takfiri terrorist movement, the presence of advisors and the assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran will lead to the unity of the Iraqi people against terrorism and resistance against Daesh.

 

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said this isn’t an issue of just Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iran but rather the enemies want to destroy Islam and in this regard, we must unite against the enemies and support the Islamic Resistance.

 

Ayatollah Ka’bi called for promotion of Islamic education among the Iraqi youth and fighters and added that Daesh is very active in cultural and religious issues but we have little activity in this regard.

 

‘The liberation of Mosul is near’

 

Hujjat al-Islam al-Khaz’ali also presented Ayatollah Ka’bi with a report on the political and security situation in Iraq and Syria and said, “Due to the mercy of God, there is good communication and coordination between the different members and the various groups that are part of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.”

 

He described the liberation of Mosul and Nineveh province as near and added that the fight against Daesh is easy in the countryside and villages but is extremely difficult in the cities because of their weapons, trenches and the use of suicide bombers.

 

The secretary-general the Asa’ib Ahlul-Haqq said the National Iraqi Alliance is now active and has good positions and contrary to views of Sunni politicians, they seek to approve a law to support Popular Mobilization Forces.

 

The positions of Hujjat al-Islam Ammar al-Hakim, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki, the former Prime Minister of Iraq, are clear and the National Iraqi Alliance supports the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Shi’ahs.

 

Last week, Hujjat al-Islam al-Khaz’ali referred to the meeting between Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist Movement in Iraq and commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces and added that during the meeting it was decided that a committee should be established to develop and pursue internal regulations to deal with violations among the Popular Mobilization Forces.
