RNA – In a gathering with a group of media outlets in Sari, Mazandaran province, Ayatollah Nourollah Tabarsi referred to the Arba’in pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn in the Iraqi city of Karbala and said, “Even if our feet are tired our hearts will be freed from the needs of this world.”
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s representative in Mazandaran said that over the past few years, the Iranian people have participated the Arba’in pilgrimage in a historical and enduring manner and added that this great pilgrimage has broken the backs of the enemies in such a way that no one dared to speak against the majesty of this pilgrimage.
Ayatollah Tabarsi noted that that the name “Arba’in” has become known on a global scale and due to the greatness of God this event has become recorded in history.
The representative of Mazandaran in the Assembly of Experts said that this year, 25 million pilgrims and lovers of Imam Husayn will participate in the Arba’in pilgrimage by walking on foot without obligation and in a spontaneous manner.
“According to the organizers of the event, there has been a massive increase in the numbers of pilgrims participating in the walk,” he said.
He added that millions of people are walking due to their love of the Ahlul-Bayt and Imam Husayn and don’t do not surrender to the enemies because the message of Arba’in is to stand against the tyranny of the enemies of Islam despite their ill-will and animosity toward pure Muhammadan Islam.
Ayatollah Tabarsi said that the Arba’in pilgrimage is a strong slap by the Islamic ummah, especially by Iran, against the criminal Saudi regime and added, “This ruthless regime has banned the Iranian people from participating in the Hajj but through their insight, the Iranian people have proven that the path to Makkah and Madinah is through Karbala.”
His Eminence emphasized the enemies of Islam are astonished by this great event and said that despite the current insecurity in Iraq and the activities of Takfiri terrorist groups, we have seen that every year the numbers of enthusiastic pilgrims traveling to Karbala increase and this is the due to the love of the Ahlul-Bayt.
