RNA – In a meeting with the people of Neka County in Iran’s northern Mazandaran province, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hashim al-Haydari, one of the commanders of Iraqi Hezbollah, referred to the role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in the victory of Hezbollah over its enemies and his role and effect on the Islamic world and added, “As the leader of the Islamic Resistance, Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah has complete confidence in the Supreme Leader and this is due to the blessings, the fruits and manifestations of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.”
He said that the doctrine of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) must be made known outside Iran and added that the role of the Supreme Leader in the Islamic Resistance movement is very effective. “If it wasn’t for Ayatollah Khamenei, the Resistance would not have the role it has in the world today,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Haydari stressed that when we speak of the Resistance, we consider the Islamic Republic of Iran as the “capital of the Resistance” and “front of righteousness” and said, “The Umm al-Qura [mother of cities] of the Islamic world and of pure Muhammadan Islam is the Islamic Republic of Iran but today the Islamic Revolution is the same as the Resistance Front, which is made up of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and several other countries of the world.”
The Iraqi cleric said that Syria is considered as one of the most important battlefields of the Resistance Front and added that the imperialist powers of the world seek to destroy the Islamic Resistance in Syria because of its effect on the destruction of Zionism.
His Eminence said that because of the authority, wisdom and insight of Hezbollah, the enemies don’t dare to do anything in Lebanon and added, “Unfortunately, due to lack of unity in other Muslim countries, we have witnessed the infiltration and plotting of the enemies among these countries.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Haydari said because Syria shares a border with Palestine and also because of its centrality for the Islamic Resistance and for Lebanon, the country has a very important role in the political equation of the Resistance Front.
“Syrian President Bashar al-Asad and the government of this country have close relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and have a close friendship with Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah,” he added.
