RNA – Speaking at a march marking the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the American embassy in Tehran by a group of revolutionary students, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ahmad Hoseyni-Khorasani said that the November 4th is considered the “National Day of Fighting the Imperialist Powers” in Iran and is considered a “Day of God.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added that this day is a religious, national and revolutionary opportunity to commemorate and remember the university students and children of the martyrs of this nation and appreciate the warriors and martyrs for their actions.
“November 4th is an opportunity to deepen, develop and strengthen our revolutionary spirit and to fight the imperialist powers of the world which are led by the United States,” he added.
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyni-Khorasani said that November 4th is the day of the manifestation of freedom and national honour and added, “This day is an opportunity to acknowledge the crimes, treason and sedition, looting and murders by the bullying and greedy American government.”
His Eminence said that God introduced the arrogant, imperialist powers and how to recognize their nature in many verses in the Holy Quran and noted that according to the teachings of the Quran, we should not assume that reconciliation with the US and building amicable relations with the enemies will decrease their animosity toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said that refusing to obey the enemies is the secret of victory and the pride of the Iranian nation and added that according to the late Imam Khomeini, refusing to obey the US is considered the “greater jihad” and that it is a great crime that the enemies implied that Imam Khomeini’s refusal to compromise with the US was a personal matter.
