RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Saidi said that the deep-rooted enemies of Islam, the Zionists, are always striving to create dissension and to polarize the Islamic ummah and Iran.
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah added that we must realize the enemies’ evil goals will be achieved and we must gather around the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and around the axis of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] and offer a powerful response to those who desire to create dissension in our society.
He noted that November 4th, which celebrates the day that a group of Iranian students belonging to the Muslim Student Followers of the Imam’s Line, who supported the Iranian Revolution, took over the American embassy in Tehran, is the “Day of Anti-Imperialism” and is celebrated as a “Day of God.”
In this regard, Ayatollah Saidi added that November 4th is also the day that Imam Khomeini was arrested and deported to Turkey on the order of the United States and added that this day is a symbol of the oppression and aggression by the imperial powers toward other nations, especially Iran.
His Eminence said that since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution until today, the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran have sought to separate the spirit of anti-imperialism from the people and government officials through various ways, including political sanctions, military attacks, cultural invasions, equipping the enemies of Iran and economic pressure.
“Since the beginning of the Revolution, the US has tried to remove the slogans of anti-imperialism from Iran because as long the slogan of ‘Down with America’ resonates, their dominance over Iran and its resources is not possible,” the Friday prayer leader of Qom said.
Ayatollah Saidi said that Imam Khomeini stressed that whoever conspires against Iran has harmed themselves and that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not retreat even one step and ‘America can’t do a damned thing.’
Qom’s Friday prayer leader stressed that Iran stands alongside and will defend the people of Palestine, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria and Iraq and all revolutionary nations, Muslims and those who have stood up against the US and Israel.
The Iranian cleric added that Iran seeks to awaken the spirit of Islamic dignity among the Muslim ummah epic which frightens the imperialist powers and they know that we will continue to fight against imperialism and the US because anti-imperialism is one of the foundations of Islamic Revolution.
