RNA – Speaking during a series of lectures at Mashhad’s Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha, Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Alamolhoda said that in Karbala, Imam al-Husayn clearly demonstrated a path which is a strategy for the lives of all Muslims who have respect and love for Imam al-Husayn.
“Those are affiliated to the ‘Master of the Martyrs’ must follow this model and implement his teachings in their lives,” he said.
The Supreme Leader’s representative in Khorasan Razavi province that in order live a Husayni lifestyle, we must differentiate our politics, economics, culture and social issues from those of the people of other countries.
He added that the imperialist powers want to devour and rule over the entire world and damage the path of Islam, the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad and added, “The imperialists seek to defeat Islam so that it does not challenge its attempts at domination and their violations against other nations throughout the world.”
Ayatollah Alamolhoda added that in order to live normal life in our country, we must give our hands to the United States and deal and negotiate with them but warned against this, saying, “The Americans consider Islam, the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad as an obstacle in their path to domination over the world and seek to overthrow these obstacles.”
His Eminence warned that we must not think that today’s problems our country and our social issues are not related to Ashura and Karbala but rather they are completely related to the movement of Ashura.
The Friday prayer leader of Mashhad said that on one hand, the United States is the enemy of God and on the other hand, they want to overthrow and destroy Islam so we, as normal citizens of this land, cannot have relations with the world and conflicts and wars with the enemies of God.
Ayatollah Alamolhoda explained that today some groups within Iran are seeking to engage with the United States and added that in order to be able to live normally and not be subject to economic sanctions, we must not allow the United States to do anything to overthrow Islam, comply to their demands or leave our religion.
“If we were to do this, we would be considered part of the army of Umar ibn Sa’ad and there would be no difference whether we wear black or non-black clothes during Muharram,” he stressed.
