RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ali Ghazi-Asgar, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, said that the claim by Saudi Arabia that Iran was the culprit in the Mina stampede is untrue and baseless because if such claims are true, then why haven't they shown the footage from the security cameras which show what really happened in Mina?

“The existing films and narratives by eyewitnesses say that Saudi Arabia is the only culprit in this humanitarian crisis,” he said.

His Eminence added that the application of the use of technology to propagate Islamic teachings is a good movement which can successfully stand against the measures by the Takfiri ideology. If we want to move forward in a normal method, we will have a great distance with the rest of the world but if we increase our knowledge this distance will be reduced.

Hujjat al-Islam Ghazi-Asgar said, “The world is ready to hear the knowledge of the Ahlul-Bayt and we must use the technology we have to convey this knowledge.”

He said that over the past several years many attempts were made by Wahhabi or Salafi movements to organize and attract people from around the world and establish a government and isolate Iran. “Today, we are pleased that the invalidity of such thinking has been identified for everyone and the Takfiri phenomena has become known as the main threat to the world,” he said.

The Iranian cleric said that if Iran enters into the new developments on the world stage at a late time, the country will be run short on the battlefield by the opposition. It is for this reason that our differences with the world are over the issue of scientific development.

In another part of his speech, Hujjat al-Islam Ghazi-Asgar said that today we should try to propagate the knowledge of the Ahlul-Bayt religious teachings to the world and attract those interested toward these teachings. “Now Western countries have recognized the danger of Wahhabi and Takfiri groups and have begun to oppose them,” he said.

He said: “Today, the world desperately needs the knowledge of the Ahlul-Bayt but unfortunately we do not have enough missionaries who are fluent in the various languages of the world, while the various communities and religious education need this knowledge and religious teachings.”
