Rasa – “Some new reforms will take place regarding the structure of the Islamic Seminaries,” the head of the Islamic Seminaries, Ayatollah Arafi, said.

RNA - Speaking at the opening ceremony held for the new educational year for the Iranian Islamic Seminaries, Ayatollah Ali-Reza Arafi, the head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran congratulated the clerics and scholars on the beginning of the new academic year and added, “This year, we appointed two different dates to begin the new educational year at the seminaries around the country. The cities with mild climate started their courses on August 22 and the cities with a hotter climate will begin their new seminary year on September 3.”

 

“The seminary schools this year have almost 17,000 new admissions,” Ayatollah Arafi said.

 

The dean of al-Mustafa International University further said, “Organizing the seminary lessons as well as expanding courses on Islamic ethics are among the most important strategies of the new management.”

 

“There will be some reforms taking place in the structure and organization of the Islamic seminaries which later will be announced to the public,” Ayatollah Arafi concluded.
