RNA – Speaking at a ceremony marking the beginning of the new academic year at al-Mustafa International University’s Imam Khomeini Specialized University branch, Ayatollah Ali-Reza Arafi said that one of the characteristics of humankind is that they have responsibility, which has various dimensions and that given the growth of the Takfiri phenomenon in the world, seminarians have a heavy responsibility to combat this evil by spreading pure Islam.
The dean of al-Mustafa International University said that the imperialist powers seek to close the outlet of the divine teachings and keep the pure discourse of the Islamic Revolution under siege. “Through the use of the media and cyberspace, they attempt to create a barrier to pure Muhammadan Islam by employing mercenaries, one of which is the House of Saud,” the senior Iranian scholar said.
He said that the main goal of the imperialist powers is to keep people from the way of God in order to prevent the spread of Islamic teachings and culture of the Islamic Revolution.
"They want to limit divine thought and Islamic teachings and in order to do this, they have employed various methods and tools," he added.
Ayatollah Arafi explained that the imperialist powers have spent a large amount of money to expand the Takfiri phenomenon and spread terrorism in the region in an attempt to gain power.
His Eminence stressed that seminarians have heavy responsibilities to use their religious knowledge in the international arena as they are the harbingers of justice and happiness for humankind, the unity of the Islamic ummah and the Islamic Revolution.
The Friday prayer leader of Qom referred to the efforts of al-Mustafa International University to spread solidarity and Islamic unity among the Islamic world and added that missionaries should use the most appropriate methods to propagate the culture of the Ahlul-Bayt in order to strengthen Islamic unity.
“Through the efforts of seminarians in spreading religious teachings throughout the world, those temped by the imperial powers and evildoers will surrender,” he noted.
Ayatollah Arafi stressed that al-Mustafa International University must be a scholarly, prudent, profound and precise place and added that all of the academic departments and teachers of this seminary for non-Iranian nationals must spread the fragrant spirit of Islam and Iran’s Islamic Revolution throughout the world and must strive with all their might to combat the army of Satan.
