RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Hasan Mamdouhi, a prominent member of Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, said that Iran’s Islamic Revolution occurred in a context when the powers of global disbelief were at the peak of their domination over Iran.
“These powers enslaved all Eastern and Islamic countries and permeated all their internal and external affairs and repressed even the smallest opposition with intensity and speed,” he said.
The revered Iranian scholar explained that the enemies use any clear political or military possibilities and cooperate with any hidden cultural or economic elements to strangle any liberation movement.
He said that Iran is a safe haven and an island of stability in the midst of the deceit and villainy, brutal actions and atmosphere of intimidation created by the imperial powers, especially the United States, who seek to remove all abilities to oppose them.
Ayatollah Mamdouhi said if religious beliefs, the spiritual and moral support of Islam or divine teachings did not exist and hopelessness prevailed over all people, then without a doubt there would not be a glimmer of hope in Iran, except the remaining spiritual soul of the divine teachings.
His Eminence explained that despite the great contempt that enemies of the Islamic Revolution have shown toward Iran, the country has not compromised its values and added that the enemies seek to achieve their sinister goals by questioning and creating disillusion with religion and religious values and through the promotion of distrust toward Iran’s religious government and the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent).
The prominent Iranian cleric said that the creation of disbelief in regard to religious values is one of the most important aspects of the enemies’ attempts to blacken the mirror of the people’s understanding.
Ayatollah Mamdouhi added that if the people do not accept the superiority of their religion and do not consider religious beliefs as religion and lose their religious strength, religious sanctities will be eliminated and the people will become distant from monotheism.
“This is nothing more than a pipe dream and will never be realized,” he said.
