RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi said: “The necessity of distrusting the enemies has roots in the Holy Quran and this has been proven by many years of experience.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah added that we must learn from the United States breaching its promises over the JCPOA.
“This experience teaches us that we cannot trust any promise given by any American administration and we must not take practical measures in return for their promises, which unfortunately, these recommendations have not been heeded,” he said.
Ayatollah Sa’idi expressed the necessity of paying attention to the Resistance Economy in a practical and serious manner, as proposed by Ayatollah Khamenei, in order to resolve the current economic crises facing the country, saying, “In this regard, we must rely on the Resistance Economy, the power of our forces and internal capabilities and must not allow foreign companies to have this much influence or opportunities.”
In reference to the developments in the region, he said that with the certainty of the failure of the terrorist front and the victory of the Syrian army, the solidarity of the camp of the supporters of the Takfiri terrorists has been destroyed.
“In addition to this, the 180-degree turnabout by Turkey in regard to Syria should be assessed,” he added.
His Eminence stated that the Turkish government has been one of the main and most ardent supporters of the terrorists in Syria, but noted that Turkey has a history of moderate behaviour.
“We hope that these changes will benefit the people of Syria and the region and that peace will return to the oppressed people of Syria,” he added.
Ayatollah Sa’idi referred to the situation in Yemen, including the new developments in the political and military arenas. and added that the establishment of a Supreme Political Council in Yemen was a huge setback for Saudi Arabia, its supporters and its prestige.
“Saudi Arabia wants to kill the innocent people of Yemen and destroy their infrastructure to force them to surrender but after the many crimes the Saudis have committed, they have achieved nothing but disgrace and dishonour,” the Friday prayer leader of Qom said.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Sa’idi said that in Iraq, the army and Popular Mobilization Forces have also made valuable victories and “God-willing, with the conquest of Mosul, we will witness a resounding defeat for the US, Wahhabis, Takfiris and Daesh criminals.”
