RNA – In a meeting with a group of young members of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance movement, Hezbollah, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati explained the “inspired power” of Iran’s Islamic Revolution will spread to other countries and Islamic movements in the world.
“Most people believed that the power of the Zionist army was to the extent that no Islamic country could be victorious over them but through divine help, Hezbollah was able to militarily and politically defeat this regime.”
The head of the Assembly of Experts said Hezbollah stands softly and submissively in front of the believers and firmly and proudly against the infidels and Zionists and by waging jihad in the way of God, they are not afraid of the blame of the rebukers.
He stressed the role of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in the revival of Islam and said, “Before the Islamic Revolution, Islam was isolated and all Muslims were looked down upon and Islam was considered a cause of backwardness and the scholars were also isolated.”
Ayatollah Jannati stated that before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, religion was considered as separate from politics and many scholars believed that they should only discuss religious affairs and not enter into political issues and not protest the oppression and corruption of the rule and power of the Pahlavi regime.
His Eminence said that through the development of belief among the Iranian people and the Muslims around the world, the Supreme Leader has revived and demonstrated their dignity and power and we can stand against the enemies by establishing an Islamic government just as there existed during the early era of Islamic history.
The senior Iranian cleric said Imam Khomeini revived the Quran and by promoting adherence to verses of jihad, he gave esteem to the Muslims of the world.
Ayatollah Jannati said that before the Revolution, the verses of the Holy Quran on jihad had been forgotten but by reviving the verses of jihad, Imam Khomeini taught everyone that Islam is not compatible with weakness, hedonism, aristocracy and indifference.
He referred to the inspiring influence of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and said the Revolution spontaneously spread to all freedom-lovers and people against the injustice in the world and added that the Iranian Islamic Revolution has now spread to various countries of Islamic world such as Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and other countries.
His Eminence said that before the Islamic Revolution, Israel dominated over many Islamic countries, especially Palestine and Lebanon, but Iran’s Islamic Revolution restored their dignity and power.
Ayatollah Jannati stated that the religiosity of the people of Yemen, Bahrain and North Africa is due to the blessings of Islam, Imam Khomeini and the inspiration of the Islamic Revolution.
