RNA – Speaking at the first international conference to “Support Yemeni Citizens” held in London Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said, “The Islamic community must pursue the path of unity, friendship, peace and security in today’s world. Saudi policies are currently raising the flag of sectarianism and division in the Muslim world.”
The Chairman of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought added, “The Islamic community must pursue the path of unity, friendship, peace and security, but Saudi Arabia is deeply engaged in warmongering actions.”
Ayatollah Araki added, “Islam and followers of the Prophet Muhammad must be messengers of peace and kindness in the world, but Saudis are paying outrageous amounts of money to sponsor warmongering actions throughout the Middle East and beyond.”
The senior Shi’a cleric further elaborated on Saudi Arabia’s policies in the region and said that they are against the spirit of Islam and the benefits of Saudi Arabia’s citizen.
He also advised the Saudi government to foster unity among Muslim communities rather than breeding sectarianism and division.
The first international conference to support the people of Yemen, hoping to reveal the crimes of the Al Saud as well as the grave human conditions in this war torn country commenced on Sunday in London, United Kingdom in which numerous prominent figures, as well as human rights activists from the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy, Iran and other countries participated.
