RNA – The deputy chief of Bahraini’s main opposition group, the al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Shaykh Husayn al-Dayhi has said that through its “foolish measures,” the Bahraini regime is threatening the stability in the region.

On his Twitter account, Shaykh Dayhi said: “Stop lying... Your case against Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim has failed,” referring to top Shi’a cleric in the country whose nationality was revoked earlier last month.

“Bahraini authority has been exposed. It feels it is forced to deny that it has been targeting the khums tax through its tool, the General Prosecutors Office, which has been accusing and jailing free people,” Shaykh al-Dayhi tweeted.

He added, “Spite and political blindness prevail rather than rationality and national interest.”

Shaykh al-Dayhi slammed measures adopted by the Al Khalifah regime against Ayatollah Qasim and many other Shi’a clerics who has been arrested or summoned for interrogation.

His Eminence addressed the Bahraini regime, saying, “Look around you, you will lose your bet. You have no choice, but to return to people, respect them and meet their rightful demands.”
