RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi stated that the Islamic Seminary and clergy are the vanguards and the source of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and the noted the dangers which the Islamic Revolution faces, saying: “The reason for the cause of the Revolution is also the reason it remains.”
The representative of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts added that the Islamic Revolution was formed on the basis of faith and piety, a scientific movement, unity, fraternity and the support of the clergy with the patience and resistance of the Iranian nation.
“The enemies wanted and still want to weaken these factors through soft war,” he emphasized.
Ayatollah Ka’bi explained that in opposition to this soft war, Iran must produce soft power and in the economic sphere, the country must implement the “Resistance Economy,” look within rather than outward and use the country’s internal capacities in order to solve its current problems.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom emphasized that scientific progress should not be stopped for a moment and noted that the spirit of the fight against the imperialist countries of the world must be strengthened day by day in Iranian society.
He explained that the conservativism, backwardness and efforts to become oriented with Western and cynical ideologies are damaging to the Islamic system of government in Iran.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said that ideologies which are Western-oriented, cynical, opportunistic, which forget the ideals of Imam Khomeini and the martyrs, are power-centred rather than Islamic-oriented and place form rather than the content are other damages to the Islamic Revolution.
His Eminence warned that the people should be alert because the enemies seek to transform the Islamic Revolution, and added, “We must pay attention to the enemies based on our values, anti-imperialism, unity and brotherhood of the people and solve the problems facing our country, especially the economic problems, with an emphasis on the ‘resistance economy’ and seek to serve the people, especially the poor.”
