RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Mohsen Rabbani, the Supreme Leader’s representative in Latin America, explained that Iran’s enemies were trying to restrict Iran’s influence to the Middle East but that today, Iran with its power and influence, has the first word in the region and speaks without hesitation.
“If the Islamic Republic did not combat the Takfiri terrorists, they would have attacked Europe much harder than they have,” the cleric stated.
In other remarks, he emphasized on the need to appreciate and defend the Islamic Republic against liberals and those who think that the United States can solve Iran’s problems.
“When the Supreme Leader stressed ‘if the US tears up the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), we will set it on fire’ on the basis of Islamic principles, he invalidated the opposition,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Rabbani said that Iran must not fear its enemies and should contribute to the growth of Islam and the Islamic government must be our top priority.
Speaking at a ceremony marking the martyrdom anniversary of the sixth Shi’a Imam, Ja’far al-Sadiq, in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in Latin America said that during his imamate, Imam al-Sadiq founded the largest Islamic Seminary and university of the Muslim world and took the greatest steps to introduce the Islamic sciences to humankind.
His Eminence stated that today, the Islamic Seminary has many possibilities due to the blessings of the system of the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader and added that the Shi’a seminaries must envelope all ideological groups, including the thought of Imam al-Sadiq.
Hujjat al-Islam Rabbani added that although the Takfiri ideology is deviant, based on the ideas of ibn Taymiyyah and they consider any issue other than the name of God as polytheism, the seminaries must also plan for and think about these groups.
The Iranian cleric stated that the actions of Imam Khomeini mirror the lifestyle of Imam al-Sadiq and added that the Islamic Republic is a model and a new paradigm in the world and the increasing pressure by the enemies is an attempt to prevent the Iran’s Islamic system from becoming a model.
