RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri said that during Operation Mersad, the last major military operation of the Iran-Iraq War, the MKO conducted a military operation with the support of Saddam Husayn and now France, which claims to be a land of freedom, human rights, counter-terrorism and democracy allowed the MKO to hold a conference in Paris where the most miserable human beings from reactionary countries praised them and their efforts to overthrow Iran’s government.
“We warn Saudi Arabia and France! Not long ago a terrorist incident occurred in Paris. Are there both good and bad terrorists?” he said.
The member of the Assembly of Experts said that Saudis know that the Iranian authorities and people are patient and they should not joke with our people and should not launch new plots against Iran because the Iranian nation is backed by faith and belief.
“The Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation will take appropriate measures, if necessary,” he said.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said that Ban Ki-Moon, the United Nations Secretary-General, has issued a 19-page report which contains unfounded allegations against Iran’s missile program and added: “[Moon] is influenced by bribes and threats and should not have undertaken such a surprising move. He is afraid of Saudi Arabia and to withdraw the report. It is clear that if he falls under American pressure, what will happen.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom also referred to the failed coup d’état against Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and recommended that Turkish officials use this golden opportunity and reconcile with its neighbours, particularly Syria and to stop all its economic and military plots against Syria and called on the Turkish government to make rational moves.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri condemned the arrogance of the regime of Bahrain’s Al Khalifah regime, saying that 200 of Bahrain’s most eminent scholars have signed a petition in defense of Ayatollah Isa Qasim, the spiritual leader of the country’s Shi’as, and condemned the government’s actions, which have included incarceration and the revocation of citizenship.
“Such actions are not sustainable and the Al Khalifah must learn from the past. Bahraini authorities must not allow themselves to be ruled by Saudi Arabia,” he said.
