RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi said that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has called on the United States and Western countries numerous times in a compassionate manner to stop their support of terrorists because of their militant and destructive nature.
“If they are defeated in Iraq and Syria, their base of operations will be transferred to Europe,” he added, noting Thursday night’s terrorist attack in Nice, France.
He added that the Iranian people are themselves victims of terrorism and condemn any sort of terrorist acts anywhere in the world.
Ayatollah Sa’idi stressed: “We call on state sponsors of terrorism, including France, to stop supporting and strengthening the criminal organizations, including the People’s Mujahedin (MKO). They are villains who do not even spare their masters. In France, nearly 100 people were killed and it is said that ISIL is responsible. This is the recompense of those who support terrorism but we condemn this terrorist ideology.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi noted the anniversary of the establishment of the Guardian Council and added that the sacred and holy institution responsible for preserving the Islamic and republicanism of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and guarantees the survival of the Islamic system.
