RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi said: “The nature of the US’ animosity toward the sacred system of the Islamic Revolution is based on animosity to the Islamic and revolutionary nature of Iran’s system of government.”
The member of Iran's Assembly of Experts added that the US is the enemy of independence, freedom and truth of the Islamic Republic, and said: “Our experience with the behaviour of the US has shown us that they are against the nature of the Islamic Revolution. The behaviour of the US is always arrogant and comes from their position of guardianship and custody over the world.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi said that the US wants all countries to submit to its will and as long as any country surrenders to the will of the US and follows the American viewpoint, the enemies will not look down on them.
He explained that the opposition to pure Muhammadan Islam is another problem that the US has with the Islamic Republic, saying: “The enemies try to prevent the rule of Islam while the Islamic Republic seeks the rule of Islam, which builds civilizations and gives identity and which brings comprehensive development to the people.”
His Eminence said that the Americans are against a new Islamic civilization and their animosity toward Iran is based on this. For this reason, the US’ opposition to the Islamic Revolution is only a passing animosity and is not based on economic trade but rather it is basic hostility.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added that the Islamic Revolution is based on the realization of independence, progress, freedom, a new Islamic civilization and the continuation of a democratic government and the Americans are opposed to this.
“The reality of the US’ animosity to the Iranian government returns to the essence, the foundation of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution,” he said.
