RNA – Ayatollah Arafi referred to the existence of several evil phenomena facing the Islamic world, saying that one of these phenomena is the spread of terrorism and the Takfiri ideology, which deceives people in the name of religion while the United States and the Zionists support them.
He said that the events that are currently occurring in the Islamic break the hearts of every Muslim, explaining: “Everywhere in the Islamic world, sedition has been created in order to bring peace to the non-believers and Zionists. The Islamic ummah and Islamic scholars must stand against this.”
The member of the Supreme Council of Seminaries added that another tragedy is the warmongering and destruction of Islamic countries, including Yemen and Syria, at the hands of the mercenaries of countries such as Saudi Arabia.
“Authoritarian governments also have killed many people within several Islamic countries and Bahrain is an example of a country where human rights are [regularly] violated as the [Al Khalifah] regime attempts to repress the people,” he said.
Ayatollah Arafi stated that some Middle Eastern countries are seeking to normalize their relations with Israel countries, saying this is a “catastrophe and tragedy for the Islamic ummah” and questioned the benefits of such an action.
He added that official recognition of Israel is considered as cooperating with the enemies of Islam and condemned Saudi Arabia’s overt and covert relations with the Zionist regime.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added that Iran declares that it stands beside the people of Bahrain, Ayatollah Isa Qasem, the Islamic Resistance and the oppressed of the world.
