RNA – Ayatollah Ali-Akbar Seyfi-Mazandarani, a scholar and teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom, has issued a statement in support of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s recent statements on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
His Eminence’s statement is as follows:
The heroic people of Iran want a strong and powerful military which places the lofty goals of God, the Prophet Muhammad and the Holy Quran as the first word. They do not want a militarily weak system which has no choice but to be dependent on the systems of the West, the United States and the imperialist powers of the world. Nor do they want a system which abides by the words of the United States and imperial powers against the sanctities of the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
They brazenly dare to insult the divine revolutionary ideals and their arrogance against the noble nation of Iran’s revolutionary Islamic faith leads them toward greater conspiracies, plots and pressures against the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
And you, Oh people of fairness and Oh university students, scholars and seminarians! With your insight refer to your conscience and fairness. Does the ideals of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) have any weaknesses besides these? In addition to this, it has led to the loss of our proud assets which are the fruits of the labour of our nuclear scientists.
Besides the greater pressure, sanctions, confiscation and plundering of part of our great assets, have they only strengthened their animosity against us?
The heroic Iranian people with insight, subtlety and restraint are monitoring the situation. The Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali has said: “Do not compromise this action unless you are a people of vision and patience.”
