RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri stated officials and the people must believe that the enemies are truly engaged in a cultural invasion against Iran.
The representative of the people of Bushehr in the Assembly of Experts added that in the face of this cultural invasion, we must use our full capacities and fight against the promoters of this invasion. We must work to increase the religious sentiments of the people so that they firmly resist the enemies’ invasion by themselves.
He praised the Iranian nation and the people of Qom for their participation in the day’s epic International al-Quds Day rallies adding: “The enemies do not understand that our people do not recognise hot and cold and only act according to their ideals.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri pointed out that the late Imam Khomeini explained the issue of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Palestine to the Muslim world and due to his leadership abilities, today, after 38 years, the people are active in different countries of the world despite more than 60 years having passed since Palestine has been occupied and suffered from Israeli criminal actions and bloodshed.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said that the enemies created Takfiri groups, such as ISIL and the al-Nusrah Front, in the heart of the Islamic world to engross the people so that they forget the concern of Palestine and Jerusalem.
He added that this years’ al-Quds Day is more significant, because Saudi Arabia and Turkey have recently extended the hand of friendship toward Israel, both openly and in a hidden manner.
“Do they know this is considered a betrayal of Islam and the Muslim ummah?” His Eminence asked.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said that Israel is about to collapse and this is not just a slogan, saying: “During the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, Israel reached Beirut but today is forced to defend its territory against Hezbollah’s rockets and this shows the strength of Hezbollah.”
In conclusion, he stressed: “Israel does not dare to attack [Lebanon] because they know that in an instant they would be targeted by thousands of Hezbollah rockets.”
