RNA – Speaking on the Night of Destiny, Ayatollah Sayyed Mahmoud Bahrululoum-Mirdamadi, the founder of the Wali al-Asr International Centre said that in the “humanity-building religion of Islam,” Laylat al-Qadr or the Night of Power, a holy night of prayer and worship humanity, has many rewards and brings one closer to God Almighty.

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Najaf said that the Holy Quran says that Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months and the angels connect the heavens to the earth. On these three nights during the holy month of Ramadan, we spend our time in contemplation and thought.

In other remarks, he quoted a line from Allamah Sayyed Ahmad Alawi's book “Misqal al-Safa” saying that in the original, non-distorted Torah and Gospel, the names of the Prophet Muhammad and the twelve Imams are clearly mentioned but have been removed.

Ayatollah Bahrululoum-Mirdamadi explained that Jews were source of this distortion and that Christians also fell under the influence of Jewish rabbis who also altered and distorted these names in their scriptures.

“The Jewish community in the Arabian peninsula were also opposed to the Holy Family of the Prophet Muhammad in the early history of Islam. If you examine history well, you can see the role of the Jews is in the opposition, dissension and deviation in the Islamic world,” he said.

Ayatollah Bahrululoum-Mirdamadi said that the degree of hostility of the Jews to the Prophet Muhammad and the Infallible Imams was that this animosity was propagated to the people of unsound and ignorant thought. For this reason, the Kharijites and other deviant sects were created and fought against Imam Ali, who was the embodiment of a teacher of justice, obedience and worship.

He said that there are similarities between the Kharijites who fought against Imam Ali and the modern-day Takfiri phenomenon and both groups suffer from unsound and ignorant thought and are malicious groups.

“We see the stubbornness, hostility and opposition that Imam Ali suffered from today in the Wahhabi ideology and among the opponents of the Ahlul-Bayt, which originates in the Jewish protocols,” Ayatollah Bahrululoum-Mirdamadi said.
