RNA – Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi said in a meeting that the revolutionary spirit should prevail in a society in a revolutionary society until the reasons and necessities that cause a revolution exist.
Referring to the situation in Iran before the Islamic Revolution, the head of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said in the past, Iran was under the dominion of foreign powers who plundered the country’s natural resources. It was a country which had no independence and where Islamic values were in danger.
He said that today, more than ever, the enemies and imperial powers look toward Iran with greed in their eyes and with the countless attacks on the country’s culture, its Islamic values are more at risk than ever. “In such circumstances, the revolutionary spirit must also exist more than ever before,” he said.
Ayatollah Sa’idi said in the past, the issue of Islam was the concern of the Zionist regime and the Muslim world was concerned and made efforts in this regard but today, we face different conditions, and not only has the Zionist regime been forgotten, but also the Al Saud, Al Khalifah, Bahrain and others have been as well, in order that Muslims kill each other.
He added that if in the past, Iran’s only enemy in the region was Israel, today there is ISIL, Al Saud and Al Khalifah who are the enemies of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and that standing against the divisive and subversive enemies is only possible through compete unity and solidarity so that we can be victorious against our various enemies in the region who are plotting to create insecurity in our country.
The Iranian scholar explained that it is necessary to understand the correct definition of being revolutionary, saying that some believe that the purpose of being revolutionary and insisting on it, is to fight and destroy one another and destroy the integrity of the state and the nation. “This is wrong thinking and the will of the enemies,” he said.
